This collage is about the transience of pigment versus the eternal existing color of the structural color. Here you see a sheet of paper from which a piece of pigment was removed by the sun and the other part was covered. So you see a difference in color.

This in combination with beetle wings pieces and morpho butterfly wings, put in geometric forms. This is the only form of structural color we have and we find them in nature.

This is a collage that was the foundation for the next installation.

Here you see a curtain made of iridescent foil, the wind and light playing with the colors.Looks like a cape, a cape of a beetle. It’s an imitation of beetle wings, ready to take off the rack.
